Ted Harris joined DeepLabs as Head of Research and worked with sales and senior leadership to quickly develop Deep Labs’ intellectual property strategy. Given limited resources and a very competitive landscape, the strategy focused on two main themes:
- strategic placement to provide a clear path for future innovation and
- valuation enhancement for potential acquisition or fundraising efforts.
Ted provided template documents, technical coaching, and clear feedback to enable eight provision patents and four trade secrets to be filed over a year time frame which helped in securing a series b fundraise.
