The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program was established by Congress in the 1980s with the goal of identifying small businesses that could provide a solution to the warfighter in a faster, more efficient manner than was presently available. Working closely with the government sector sales team Ted Harris submitted five SBIR contracts outlining how DeepDecision could provide an innovation platform for US Military. DeepLabs was awarded an SBIR contract in 2022 and successfully executed it resulting in a phase II SOCOM award worth over 1 million dollars. DeepLabs was named as the sole source provided for the next phase of the project in 2023.
